Is Nextcloud really comparable to Google Drive?
For most business workflows — file storage, sharing, calendars, contacts and document collaboration — yes. Nextcloud Office handles documents, spreadsheets and presentations in real time. The main difference is that you control where the data lives.
Can I migrate from Google Drive or Dropbox?
Yes. We can help you migrate your existing files. For large migrations (over 100 GB) we will scope the work with you — get in touch before signing up.
Where exactly is my data stored?
On EU servers in Germany or the Netherlands. Your data never leaves European infrastructure, which keeps you GDPR-compliant by design.
What about apps and devices?
Native Nextcloud clients are free for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. Calendar and contacts sync with Outlook, iOS, Android and Thunderbird via CalDAV/CardDAV.
