- A website’s job isn’t to look pretty — it’s to turn visitors into enquiries, bookings and customers.
- Thrive is a WordPress toolkit built specifically around conversion — landing pages, opt-ins, A/B testing — not just design.
- We’ve built and maintain 70+ client sites on Thrive, so we know its strengths and its limits.
- The right answer is “the right tool for the job” — we build on Thrive where it wins, and modern Gutenberg/Spectra where that fits better.
The short version
Most of the WordPress sites we build and manage run on Thrive — the suite behind Thrive Theme Builder, Thrive Architect, Thrive Leads and Thrive Apprentice. We chose it years ago for one reason: it’s engineered around getting results, not just looking good. Across our managed portfolio, Thrive powers the large majority of client sites.
If your current website looks fine but rarely produces enquiries, the problem usually isn’t the design — it’s that the site was never built to convert. That’s the gap Thrive closes.
What makes Thrive different
Plenty of page builders can make a pretty page. Thrive is built around the question “what makes a visitor act?” — and it bakes the answers into the tools:
- Conversion-focused templates designed to lead a visitor toward one clear action.
- Built-in lead generation (Thrive Leads) — opt-in forms, popups and signup flows that feed your email list.
- A/B testing so decisions are based on what actually converts, not opinion.
- Online courses & membership (Thrive Apprentice) when you want to teach, train or gate content.
- Fast, self-contained builds — no sprawling stack of mismatched plugins fighting each other.
For a small business, that means a website that earns its keep — not a digital brochure that sits there.
Why our experience matters here
Tools are only as good as the hands using them. We’ve been building on the web since 2000, delivered 200+ projects, and currently build and maintain 70+ live client sites on Thrive. That depth means we know which layouts actually convert for different industries, how to keep a Thrive site fast and secure over years (not just at launch), and — just as important — when Thrive is not the right choice.
That last point matters. We’re not a one-tool shop pretending every site needs the same hammer.
“Right tool for the job”
Thrive is excellent for marketing sites, landing pages, lead generation and course platforms. But some projects are better served by a clean Gutenberg + Spectra build, by WooCommerce for serious e-commerce, or by other tools entirely. We’ll recommend what genuinely fits your goals and budget — and tell you honestly when a different approach would serve you better.
The point isn’t the tool. The point is a website that brings you business and that we can keep healthy for years.

Frequently asked questions
Is Thrive good for SEO?
Yes — a well-built Thrive site is fast and clean, and we pair every build with proper on-page SEO and technical setup. The builder doesn’t hold SEO back; how it’s built does, which is where experience matters.
Will my Thrive site be slow?
Not if it’s built and maintained properly. We optimise every site (caching, image handling, clean code) and keep it that way under a care plan — speed is a maintenance discipline, not a one-time setting.
Can you take over or fix an existing Thrive site?
Yes. We manage dozens of Thrive sites and regularly take over sites built by others — auditing, fixing, and bringing them onto a proper maintenance schedule.
Do I own the site?
Completely. It’s your WordPress site on hosting you control. See our approach to website design & development.
